Participant Agreement, Liability Waiver, and Policies
1. Liability Waiver and Indemnification
As a participant in this program, I (and my parent/legal guardian, if applicable) agree to the following:
Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless WCEO, GO-YCA, and their respective directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from my participation, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Third-Party Acts: I acknowledge that the organizers are not responsible for the acts, errors, or omissions of third parties conducting activities on their behalf.
Insurance & Medical Costs: I understand that I am responsible for obtaining my own health and accident insurance. I agree to bear all costs arising from any accidents or medical emergencies.
Emergency Authorization: In the event of a medical emergency where I (or my guardian) cannot be reached, I authorize WCEO to seek necessary medical treatment and transportation.
2. Participant Commitment and Conduct
Professional Training Nature: I acknowledge that this is a high-intensity, professional training program, not a recreational camp. I commit to demonstrating resilience, accepting guidance, and completing all evaluations.
Health Status: I certify that I am in good physical and mental health. I agree to promptly notify staff of any discomfort or health concerns during the program.
Continuous Engagement: I understand that the initial training is foundational, and I am willing to participate in subsequent immersive programs, online courses, and local chapter activities.
Code of Conduct: I agree to follow all safety guidelines and behavioral standards. I understand that behavior compromising the program’s safety, reputation, or integrity may result in immediate dismissal without a refund.
3. Media Consent and Release
By participating in the GO-YCA programs, I grant WCEO the right to capture, use, and distribute photographs, audio, and video recordings of me for promotional and organizational purposes (including websites and social media).
No Compensation: I understand that I will receive no royalties or compensation for the use of these materials.
Waiver of Approval: I waive the right to inspect or approve the final content in which my likeness appears.
Withdrawal: To withdraw consent, I must contact WCEO in writing; WCEO will make reasonable efforts to comply regarding future materials.
4. Refund Policy
If you are unable to attend, please notify us via email at goyca-info@wceo.org. A $45 handling fee will be deducted from all refunds.
Refund Deadlines by Session:
Session A (July 25–26): On or before July 1st, 2026.
Session B (August 1–2): On or before July 8th, 2026.
Note: No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after the respective deadlines.
Acknowledgment: By completing the registration, the participant and their parent/legal guardian confirm they have read, understood, and agreed to all policies stated above and at http://wceo.org/2026-goyca-policies.
