慧智文教基金會在三十幾年前從中華文藝陶冶營開始，一步一步跟著社區的需要長出這個系統。CYLA 不是從藍圖設計出來的。它是從真實的需要裡長出來的。
Wisdom Culture and Education Organization began over thirty years ago with the Chinese Folk Arts Summer Camp. What followed was not a plan. It was a response to what the community actually needed.

Growing up between cultures is not simple. As Asian American youth, you carry multiple worlds inside you: your family's history, the community you were raised in, and the society you're navigating every day. Sometimes these worlds feel like they don't quite fit together.
CYLA doesn't offer easy answers. It offers something rarer: a space to ask harder questions.
Over three days of this leadership conference, you'll explore what it means to be who you are. Not just as someone with a cultural background, but as someone with a perspective that this world needs. You'll work through real challenges with peers who understand the same complexity. You'll learn from people who have turned that complexity into fuel.
We don't just pass down culture.

LEAP INTO GO-YCA CYLA is where your journey begins. On Day 2, something happens that you'll have to experience yourself.
After CYLA, participants are invited to join GO-YCA: a year-round leadership program where you take the lead, plan community events, and apply for the President's Volunteer Service Award.
You don't just join. You leap.
For Parents

Your child might have been part of our community as a camper or TA. CYLA is the next step in a six-year leadership development system, from camper to TA, to CYLA, to GO-YCA, and beyond.
Parents are invited to a Tea Party on Day 2 (Saturday) to meet our team, see your child in action, and learn about the GO-YCA year-round program and the President's Volunteer Service Award.
